Made up a 5 pound batch as a test batch. Added 2TBL red pepper flakes for a little heat. Decided to leave them fresh and not smoked to get the true flavor. Awesome tasting!!! Next batch I will smoke to see how the flavor profile changes but I am sure it will be good.
