Use for hanging bacon, hams, turkeys, dried beef, dried venison, etc. in the smokehouse. If you use ham bags, a bacon hook works great for hanging the bag on the smokehouse rod. Put your meat in the ham bag, tie a knot in one end and stick the bacon hook prong under the knot. Also works great for hanging whole muscle jerky. No need for expensive screens for drying jerky.
